Amanda Robson has taken her training at The California Culinary Academy, San Francisco and infused it with her Creative Direction work for stage and television in Los Angeles, to conceive FEAST: an event series pairing visionary chefs with inspiring artistic experiences.
In celebration of Nature’s stirring, The Lumeria Maui played host to Spring FEAST on April 6. The event was an homage to botanicals through both food and art.
The experience began with a blessing via dance, executed by Alannah Andersen, followed by a "Lei po'o (head lei) Workshop" lead by Oʻahu floral designer Pamakane of Ocean Dreamer Florals where guests let their creativity run wild.
Once adorned in lei, it was time to delight the palette with a vibrant three-course, organic dinner, featuring local spring vegetables, fruits and florals. Savory courses by Lumeria's Chef Ben Diamond and farmer James Simpliciano of Simpli Fresh Farms joined delicious desserts by Baked by Amy.
